Paul Brown

Paul is the most recent addition to the Maverick Partners team, joining in early 2023, and provides expertise in the Central and Downtown Raleigh markets.

Paul Brown brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from the government and nonprofit sectors. During his time in the space, he began to gravitate towards urban planning and the details that go into building cities and counties. After a decade in public service, he leaned into his interest of real estate by merging his public administration background with his passion for developing communities. Since his career transition, he has gained knowledge through various training programs and fellowships. Most recently, he participated in a fellowship with local real estate development firm Ancora Partners and earned a ULI certificate in Commercial Real Estate. He has also received training with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) for affordable housing development projects.

Originally from Charleston, SC, Paul received his BA degree from Winthrop University and holds a Masters in Public Administration from Savanna State University.
